DOGGIE PRESENT FOR BEING GOOD
LOVELY RESULT TO END THE SEASON
Big thanks to the HVS for running an All Age and the last trial of the season today. Jumpy January birds and windy conditions tested us all, but great shooting from the guns helped Jerzi come home with a 4th Award. Whopping swim across the lake to finish and one tired little dog slept all the way home! A great end to the season, Well done Jerz XX
LAST DAY ENDS ON A HIGH
Lovely Walked Up Day
A great day today spent with the guns and Nick Elsdon of "Anglia Sporting" who organised a marvellous walked up day for 3 guns shooting over HPR's. Two Aytee dogs, Dora and Jerzi did the hard work and we were joined by Gill Pillinger and two GSP's from her kennel in Lincolnshire. Great sport and good company and the sun shone, what more could you want ! www.angliasporting.co.uk

Havoc and Dora our two field trial winning bitches will be paired with two wonderful quality working Champion stud dogs. Dora's mate will be announced shortly but Havoc's mates details are up. Please see LITTERS pages for all the information.
DORA
NEW VIDEO FOR 2016
We have just released our latest training video of AYTEE GSPS working at a local shoot. It features Jerzi who at 2 1/2 is at an important stage of training. She understands most commands but still needs help when out in the field, but push her too hard and she could be spoilt forever. This video is intended to help anyone who wants to work their dog on shoot days but also be successful in field trials.
DORA THE SHOWGIRL!
An indoor Championship Dogshow is somewhere you don't often see Field Trial Champions but Dora spent the day showing herself off at Boston Championship Show and for a previously unshown 4 year old we were very proud of her and she obviously enjoyed meeting the judges ! As it was a one off for us it was a marvellous result to come home with a prize card from the Open Stakes Class. Thankyou to all the competitors that were so friendly and welcoming, we both thoroughly enjoyed the day and watching so many lovely dogs.
JERZI'S FIRST OPEN RUN
Jerzi lasted all of 5 minutes in her first Open run today in Warwickshire! She started with a tidy retrieve on a hen pheasant which was no problem. Was then asked to hunt a deep sided water course full of trees and scrub and working hard she quickly came on point, staunch and eager. Guns in position, send her in. She flushed well, but the bird held fast, or as it turned out, two hen birds which sat tight and Jerzi, with her lack of experience, unsure of what to do with two at once, stayed locked on point. I do think she would have remained all day so with a thanks to the judges and apology for our indiscretion we shook hands and came on home. 5 hours driving for 5 minutes dog work, thats trialling ! I think Open may have come a little too soon, we will see how things go.
JERZI IN AWARDS AT COOLING TOWERS!
Well done Jerzi in winning a cofm award on a very difficult day on an extraordinary trialling ground. Sandwiched between 8 cooling towers and the M1 we saw pheasants, snipe, hare and partridge. Never judge a book by its cover, but such a long day in cold and wet conditions. Thankyou to the GSPA for putting on this All Aged Trial.
