We are delighted that our first New Zealand litter - AYTEE AOTEAROA “P” LITTER is expected on 8th April 2021. Aytee Kimono (“Tarka”) X Graygees Gigolo JW. (SHWC) AI
A family affair, the litter is bred by Harriett Brownell, Lucie’s daughter, who emigrated to Auckland NZ in 2019 with her young family and Aytee Kimono “Tarka”.
Dam: Aytee Kimono “Tarka”. Hip Score 6-3
Bred from superb dual purpose lines Tarka is full of natural ability and with a wonderful temperament. Although uncompeted, she is an excellent hunter, bird finder, pointer, totally reliable around stock and a wonderful temperament. She is full sister to Ch Aytee Katerina field trial and show winner see “K” Litter.

Graygees Gigolo JW (SGWC) “Bodi” has the perfect balance of Show and Work. BOB, Group and CCs in the UK and Europe as well as a promising start in field trials where he is a hard hunting, stylish dog, calm and biddable with an excellent mouth, picking up regularly at local shoots.
All being well puppies will be ready to go at 8 weeks old in early June. This expected “P” litter has the same pedigree as our “N” litter born Jan 2020 who are starting to prove themselves in the field. (see post 31/1/21)
Wednesday 7th April A day early proud Tarka produced 6 puppies. 2 dogs and 4 bitches all safe and sound.

Saturday 17th April - Tarka’s 6 puppies are never hungry and she is a very diligent mother needing to be taken out on a lead for short exercises as she never wants to leave them. Her wonderful temperament allows small children in the whelping box and puppies are already well handled !
Wednesday 21st April - Eyes are starting to open, weight is increasing daily and the pups are getting up on their legs. Once they can focus they will become more vocal !
Monday 26th April - Pups are getting active now. The first day up on their legs and there will be no stopping them. They get plenty of attention and are loving it.
Friday 7th May - 4 weeks old and thriving. The puppies are on 4 meals a day plus a bit of tarkas milk, they are enjoying their last few days with her before weaning.
Friday 7th May (video 2) - This week they have moved to a new puppy house with an outdoor run - looking forward to seeing all our lovely new owners next week !
Sunday 23rd May - 6.5 weeks old and having playtime out on the grass. Apart from Piper who flies down to the South Island they have all met their new owners. Roll on June 2nd when you can collect!
Tuesday 1st June 2021 - At 8 weeks old puppies are off to their new homes tomorrow, its been a wonderful 8 weeks but gosh are they ready for their new life. The Aytee Aotearoa P litter - Popstar, Primrose, Pathfinder, Picasso, Painter and Piwaiwaka - are off to a mix of working and showing homes around NZ. We can’t wait to hear updates of how they are coming on, watch this space!
