BONNIE TRIP NORTH

A great 2 days in the Scottish Borders away trialling ended with our 3 entered dogs all going to water. The wonderful grounds at the new KC venue at Emblehope and the HGS Open Trial at Mindrum gave Aytee dogs a chance to strut their stuff and they all came home with a card. Thanks to judges, guns, the organising teams and of course the lovely competitors. Well done to all the winners and especially to our young Karat who really nailed her bird at Emblehope’s novice trial in difficult conditions, enjoying her first lively runner !

Quintana's at Quidenham

A wonderfully sunny day of rough shooting for visiting guns on the Quidenham estate kept Aytee dogs busy working alongside Quintana GSP’s. Woods, roots, rape, white grass and water meadows gave endless sport until dark. Huge thanks to Nick Elsdon (Anglia Sporting Agency) for organising and to the guns on their trip from Switzerland and we wish Philip Thorrold and family continued success now managing the shoot on the beautiful estate that is Quidenham.

The 2018 Kennel Club HPR Championship was won in style today by Aytee dog - Jumbo Jet of Islasbraw. Huge congratulations to Lewis with owner Darryl Elliot. We are very proud of you both! Congrats too to 2nd place Jason Hudson with his lovely Korthals Griffon the only 2 dogs to water from 24 starters - a tough couple of days competition.

Also well done to Hari Lampart who’s Myrtle (Aytee Jessie Jay) ran wonderfully well only to be caught out on her second run by a wily cockbird. Next time Hari!

Finally thanks to Steve and Coshy Kimberley for presenting the lovely Caldera breeders trophy which we are delighted to win.

2 OUT OF 4 AIN'T BAD

Two Aytee dogs are amongst 9 runners through to the final day of the HPR Championships. Darryl with Lewis and Hari with Myrtle kept their cards clean so everything to play for tomorrow! A fantastic day today and good luck to you both we will be there cheering you on.

Dora and Jerzi went from hero to zero as they say, having let the grouse take charge, but are spending a happy evening in the pub.
