Aytee Puppies Planned for 2023 😁

We are very excited to have an Aytee litter planned for Spring 2023. With homebred KC HPR Champions on both sides of the pedigree we will be keeping a waitlist for this special litter.

Both Sire and Dam are hard running stylish hunters, excellent retrievers, swim confidently and are biddable with kind temperaments. Please contact luciehustler@me.com for more info.

KARAT

Dam: Ch Aytee Katerina “Karat” is a true dual purpose GSP having won a 1st Field Trial Award at 2 1/2 years old, in the same year as her third CC in the show ring. She is shot over every week in the season and has a very soft mouth. Karats first litter from 2020 are already proving themselves in the field.

HARRIS

Sire: Islasbraw Ash “Harris” is a naturally wide running dog that points superbly well. Now working grouse as well as pheasant and partridge, this very promising young dog has made a great start winning 2nd and 3rd awards in his first few field trial entries.

Amazing day

We were very proud to spend today picking up with Aytee Natasha ‘Brooke’ and owner Marcus Fox and the rest of his lovely team Milly and Ash. Fantastic work from all the dogs including Natasha’s dam Ch Aytee Katerina and half-sister Aytee Oceania on a beautiful last driven grouse day in the Pennines. We arrived home to find that litter sister Aytee Nerissa had also dropped by with owners Dick and Jill Telford from Hampshire who had been heading home from a trip up North. The best thing about breeding is making great friends and sharing our dogs 🐕🐾😍🐾🐾 thanks guys for taking the time 🥰 we are blessed.

A True Blind Retrieve 😂

Delighted with Aytee Oceania “Oxo”’s 4th Award in her second Field Trial yesterday as she gained from several new experiences. One can never train for everything and her lovely retrieve was done with both eyes in a total blackout as they were both completely covered with each wing of the grouse 😂 navigated with a bit of extra whistle to deliver safely to hand, phew !

Thanks to the generous hosts, the GSPC and judges and Fleur Fillingham and her team for great organisation and of course all the lovely gallery. Well done to all in the awards, what a great day 😀

Glorious 12th

Cracking day at the N&SHPRFT Clubs Novice trial at Roxby yesterday. Huge thanks to the club/judges for great organisation and host Mark Taylor for presenting everything so perfectly and allowing us to start early in the heat. So glad to have run Oxo on a perfect day for her debut and great to get the season underway🤞 Incase anyone has read the Daily Mail Online this morning, their confusion of photographs/captions has given great merriment 😂.

Visitor from afar

We had a lovely visit today from Alida Bevk and her partner Rock, on holiday in Scotland, who work GSPs back home in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was so interesting to share the love of hunting our dogs - it crosses all borders. 😀 However the sport may vary in different countries, we all enjoy a hard running dog that finds game and brings it home!

Good luck Alida, to Efi at her first Autumn Trial ! Go girl 🐕🐾🐾🐾

Having a moment 😍

Caught having a moment with Oxo today after another lovely grading at the N&SHPRFT Clubs GPT on Yorkshire’s Roxby Moor. The weekend of training + test hosted by Mark Taylor gave really perfect sport … thankyou Mark - the moor looked amazing and grouse thought so too 😀. Thanks to judges Suzi Burton and Andrew Farley, and thanks to Steve Pleasance and the whole of the N&S organising team who put on such a great weekend. Congratulations to everyone in the gradings and to all the many dogs that ran so well.

Beautiful Weekend

We are very proud of our Oxo,(Aytee Oceania) who came away with an Excellent grading at the HWVCGB GPT today. Described by the judges as "beautiful work” her run rounded off a fantastic weekend of training and Testing. Huge thanks to hosts Janet Sunter and Dez Coates, trainers Hari Lampart & Charlie Grewcock and judges Phil Pearson and Charlie.

Thanks also to Tracie Rickman for organising yet another great event and congratulations to all dogs and handlers who graded as well as the many young dogs having their first taste of the moor. How privileged we are to share this great sport and it was lovely to chat with so many new faces.

Who'd have bitches?

With 3 of our 4 bitches in season and competitions off limits, grrrrrrrr, summer water training comes into its own as it seems the only way to overcome their lethargy. With so many fabulous rivers and lakes to swim locally the only thing to avoid is the salmon fishing 😮

Working Test Win for Doc

Congratulations to Aytee Kalimar ‘Doc’ and Ben Barrett after his 1st in Open at the GSPC Scottish Group WT on Saturday. The club made good use of gullies, moorland and the local loch and Doc answered some tough questions, taking home the silverware. Well done to all winners and huge thanks to judges, organisers and the generous hosts of Brewlands Estate for a great weekend of competition followed on Sunday by training sessions for all ages.
