An interesting bag and 4th for Oxo

“Oxo” aka Aytee Oceania worked her socks off today with a rare point in foggy conditions at the GSPA Novice Trial in Derbyshire. Huge thanks to the judges for the opportunity of a third run giving her a much needed retrieve, after the pointed woodcock was shot but got hung up in a tree 🙄 - later discovered by the PU dog. Thanks also to the super guns for her award and to the Hosts and FT Sec who with the gallery made it a lovely day. Congratulations too for Pete Bakewell with top dog and Jessica Frost for achieving her SGWC.

Finally thanks to the partridge, snipe, woodcock and hare that nearly outnumbered the pheasants today after their disappearing act in the dismal conditions!

Girls day out

Couldn't be better 😁 it may have taken us a day to shoot a bird each over our dogs but it was the best day ever. A great walk round, the woodcock had arrived and the dogs had plenty of points….btw happily no need for a red hat but it was warm😂 Enjoy your dogs !!

100% PRECIPITATION

Today at the wonderful Scottish Borders Sporting Estate, despite torrential rain all day and renaming it ‘Sodden Birds Shot’ 😉 we had a marvellous HPR day enjoying a great craic and a soaking with sharp shooter Mark Monie and Hari Lampart and all the lovely dawgs. Huge thanks to Stuart & Tracy Fergurson for providing marvellous hunting grounds which allowed the dogs to work so brilliantly. By the time we were done the flooded fields and raging rivers had changed the landscape !

“Harris” Top Dog at Novice Trial

Congratulations to Darryl Elliot and Islasbraw Ash “Harris” who was top dog at the GSPC Novice Field Trial at Ford, Northumberland today. Two year old Harris, who is sired by Aytee Jumbo Jet of Islasbraw, (winner of two Kennel Club Championships) is due to sire our own “Q” Litter planned for Spring 2023. 😁🐾🐕

Magic day on Halloween

Thanks to the Brittany Club of GB for putting on their Novice Field trial today at Radbourne, Derbyshire. Lovely sheltered meadows with huge hedges, ditches, rushes and ponds provided a super ‘old fashioned’ type venue where Aytee Oceania (Oxo) came away with a First. Thanks to the judges, hosts, organisers, helpers and sponsors and of course the guns and lovely gallery … it was a truly fantastic day which had started with me becoming a grandma👌again 😍

Aytee Puppies Planned for 2023 😁

We are very excited to have an Aytee litter planned for Spring 2023. With homebred KC HPR Champions on both sides of the pedigree we will be keeping a waitlist for this special litter.

Both Sire and Dam are hard running stylish hunters, excellent retrievers, swim confidently and are biddable with kind temperaments. Please contact luciehustler@me.com for more info.

KARAT

Dam: Ch Aytee Katerina “Karat” is a true dual purpose GSP having won a 1st Field Trial Award at 2 1/2 years old, in the same year as her third CC in the show ring. She is shot over every week in the season and has a very soft mouth. Karats first litter from 2020 are already proving themselves in the field.

HARRIS

Sire: Islasbraw Ash “Harris” is a naturally wide running dog that points superbly well. Now working grouse as well as pheasant and partridge, this very promising young dog has made a great start winning 2nd and 3rd awards in his first few field trial entries.

Amazing day

We were very proud to spend today picking up with Aytee Natasha ‘Brooke’ and owner Marcus Fox and the rest of his lovely team Milly and Ash. Fantastic work from all the dogs including Natasha’s dam Ch Aytee Katerina and half-sister Aytee Oceania on a beautiful last driven grouse day in the Pennines. We arrived home to find that litter sister Aytee Nerissa had also dropped by with owners Dick and Jill Telford from Hampshire who had been heading home from a trip up North. The best thing about breeding is making great friends and sharing our dogs 🐕🐾😍🐾🐾 thanks guys for taking the time 🥰 we are blessed.
