Telepubbies

With 2 small children and 6 gsp puppies there could only be one style for the new puppy run. Tarka’s pups in Auckland, New Zealand and heading towards 5 weeks old.

LEADS FROM LOCKDOWN

A great business idea started in lockdown by Aytee owner Marcus Fox is now in full swing. Marcus makes a range of quality and good value slip leads available through fb or https://www.gundog-leads.co.uk which are fully tested by his own dogs across Cumbria on long days work and which we love too. I just need a homing device customised on my leads Marcus to stop them getting lost :)

Happy Birthday to our Lockdown Litter

Happy Birthday to our “N” litter who are 1 year old today and congratulations to all 10 owners for getting through such a tumultuous year so well with your pups! BROOKE, POLLY, MAIA, SAKER, BOURBON, NESSA, MILO, NUKA, MOLLY AND HENRY were rushed to their new homes the night of the first lockdown back in March 2020 and despite the many restrictions and difficulties they are a credit to their owners training and tender love and care. Well done everyone and please come and visit us when you are allowed and able, lots of space for the dawgs and we do love visits from our pups ! (with their owners of course) See some here and Karat below, they really are a chip off the old block :)

No Puppies in 2021 for Aytee

Despite many enquiries for a puppy over recent months we confirm that owing to the volatile and ongoing coronavirus situation we shall not be breeding from our dogs this year. We would like to thank everyone for their interest, but feel that long lockdowns have a significant impact on pups when limited socialising is possible.

We would like to encourage anyone looking for a GSP puppy to please only contact breeders who uphold the GSP Breeders Charter as to ignore this would encourage lower standards for buyers, as well as for GSPs.

BOOTS & BANDAGES STAY PUT

Having often got in a mess trying to protect a cut pad using a dog boot with duck tape sticking to my dogs coat, I had to share this brilliant tutorial ! So simple but a perfect result and it would work with a dressing for an injured leg or pad too. Why did I never think of reversing the tape 😂 Thanks to Casey Anderson from Arizona who works on our training manuals and hunts his dogs in the desert using boots to protect from cactus Click on www.gundogsupply.com/video-how-to-boot-your-dog-with-lewis-boots

BEST TRAINING BUDDIES!

Having moved house, county and country how lucky to find myself with new training buddies, trialler Sarah Miles (smilesdogtraining) and her lovely retrievers Gracie and Brodie. So lovely to have such fabulous company training and Aytee dogs enjoying the challenge of long runouts, rivers and ravines as well as young Oxo’s steadiness being well tested ! …… 150m go backs? bring it on 😂
