"Q" Litter bang on time 🐾🐾

Q litter dob 2.4.23. FTW Islasbraw Ash X Ch Aytee Katerina

Despite being convinced that Karat would deliver early, she waited β€˜til the early hours of her due date before whelping our β€œQ” litter through last night. To all the lovely people who came to visit during March to discuss a pup, we are blessed with a litter of 10 and I will be in touch with you all very soon. Karat knew the ropes and it is a huge relief now, not to have her resembling a stretched balloon πŸ˜‚ Don’t worry, we take nothing for granted, but she has reared 10 pups before (β€œN” Litter) and between us we can do it again.

Waiting patiently 🐾🐾🐾

Thankyou to all our prospective puppy owners from Karat and I for the lovely messages wishing us luck for her whelping this week 😊 It was marvellous to meet some of you over the last fortnight, thankyou for travelling the long distances and we will do our best to get the result that everyone is hoping for. Karat is very well and we are expecting that pups may arrive a tad early - I think she will be very happy about that ! 😁

A beautiful day of training for the Scottish H.P.R Home Internationals Team training group yesterday which took place at Scottish Borders Sporting, Lauder. Huge thanks to SBS owners Stuart and Tracy Ferguson, for team Sponsorship through the use of their fabulous facilities. The sun shone and on such wonderful ground and able to work alongside well known trainer Sarah Miles and of course, with the help of some very capable dummy throwers, the day was perfect and allowed all the dogs to shine. Well done handlers, let's do it all again next month!

GSPs Down-under ... and Over

Just home from a long antiopdean trip to see family where we had the luck of seeing plenty of GSP’s, some used for muzzled work with New Zealands DOC, (Department of Conservation)  for counting endangered species.  Interesting that DOC also encourage and run Kiwi Avoidance courses which involve training with an EC.

Also spotted, a much loved very large Aussie bred dog and our own Aytee Kimono β€œTarka" who finally found and retrieved one of the grandchildrens guinea pigs that was safely returned to its pen unharmed 😁πŸ’ͺ .  We even enjoyed a film at 40,000 feet on french truffle hunting GSP’s courtesy Emirates Airline  πŸ˜‚ πŸ’ͺ🐾

Win for Popstar in NZ !

Another win for Aytee Aotearoa Popstar (Piper) from our β€œP” Litter in South Island, New Zealand, is adding to her successful showing career. Pipers dam is Aytee Kimono from our β€œK” litter and her sire is Int Ch Graygees Gigolo. Congratulations to owner Tina Trowbridge !

Oxo Breaks her Duck - Woodcock 😁

A lovely walk round with the dawgs today finished with massive thanks to Emily Hinchcliff for shooting Oxos first woodcock HPR giving her a lovely retrieve. Yours truly has missed them all season πŸ™„ so it was great to repay the favour and shoot a pheasant for Perfect Pickle. So lucky to share these days πŸΎπŸΎπŸ‘Œ Thanks Em !

DUAL PURPOSE AYTEE

Congratulations to Aytee Nualla (Nuka) from our N Litter and owners Andy & Brooksy McCulloch for their award at Nuka’s first ever Championship Show all on the same day that Aytee dogs from the L and O Litters were winning Field Trial awards. Well done Andy! πŸ’ͺ Great owners make great dogs 😊

Proud Breeder Moment

A lovely run and 2nd with Aytee Oceania (Oxo) today at Worcester Gundog Society’s Novice trial at Somerford Hall, Staffs was eclipsed by a superb showing and 1st from Aytee Lolita (Medlar) out for just her second time with owner Hari Lampart. Huge congratulations to them both for such a standout win, there could be no better day as breeder, than having two young Aytee dogs in the awards 😍. Thanks to Somerford Hall, the WGS, judges, guns and organising team for putting on such a beautifully balanced trial with challenging hunting and enough birds to give all the novice dogs a great experience πŸ˜πŸ•πŸΎ
